Default Check engine light

Hello everybody, I am new around here and have a little problem with my 2001 Toyota Camry CE standard.
Everything seems and runs fine but on chilly mornings the "check engine" light goes off you all know what I mean lights ip and stays like that if I do not do anything, took the car several times to AutoZone and they say is the gas tank cap, bought a new one, happens the same thing it seems to be fine in a warm environment but as soon as turns "cold" around here (Houston, TX) baaam!!!!! light is on.
What do I do?

if auto zone told u it was a gas cap then more then likely they have a p0441 p0446 code and yes a loose gas cap or worn seal can cause this but 75% of the time it is the tank bypass vsv mouted on the side of the charcoal canister.
