Default circulation keeps turning off 2010 camry

hello everyone

i just leased a 2010 camry last night and my circulation keeps turning off every few minutes and i can always feel the outside air coming in. Is this a new thing that toyota has made or is this a problem?

Good to know that I am not a first one here. I have 2009 Camry, and started seeing exact same problem for last 2 weeks. I have this car for about 7months, never had this problem earlier. P.S. Winter temperature also started getting lower in phoenix for few days too.

Problem only happens when I start car first time in morning after overnight Engine-off. My AC/heater/defrost was also off all time. Air-recirculate light automatically turn-off and cold air start coming in car, I press light-on and it off by itself couple of time within 2-miles when car pick-up speed on road.

Please reply if anyone found any solution to this. Would like to know if this is any defect or factory settings. Already checked handbook and detailed camry manual, doesnt say any troubleshoot with this problem..

Thanks.

Vehicles with smart key system
In order to prevent the windows from fogging up, recirculated air mode may
automatically switch to outside air mode if the ambient temperature drops.
This feature can be cancelled by pushing and holding the air intake mode
switch for longer than 2 seconds. The feature will be reactivated when the
“ENGINE START STOP” switch is turned to ACCESSORY or IGNITION ON
mode.

It does.

This is happening on my wife's 2009 Camry, so I googled it and found this thread.

Thanks for posting the info.
