Default Cruise Control Button Broken

2010 Camry. Driving home after leaving car in parking garage, notice that cruise control activation button at tip of stalk has popped or been pulled out. Push back in, can no longer activate cruise control. Button clicks but cruise control does not engage. Can stalk be repaired? How much effort to replace with new stalk? Thanks.

Pulled the button out. Found that the triple contactors had been bent back, apparently by somebody in the garage who pulled the button then pushed it back.

Can you delicately pull the contacts back into place? Like using a dental pick to bend them back into place so as to make contact again?
I would also talk to the manager of the storage garage and try to make them fix it. No reason they should be playing with that button anyway.

There's a small screw on the back of the stalk. On my 2010 Camry it was a T4. The back will come off and then you can see the metal piece, which is shaped like a E. All three legs of the E should be straight, but they are curved at the end to make contact with the contacts in the back piece.
