Default Engine Thribbing

Hello,

I have a 97' Camry LE 4 cyl (117 K Mi), and sometimes when I come to a stop the engine idles ruff. The RPM gage does not stay even at 600 or so. It moves up and down. I read through the board and saw a post about cleaning the throttle body so I did. I also replaced the plugs, wires and PCV valve too. The engine is smother now, but sometimes it slips back to the rough idle from time to time.

Am I missing anything? Any imput you could provide will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

It sounds like your transmission shifts back to lower gear atcertain speed and go back to normal again frequently.
You should check your transmission oil level first.
