Default Flashers

I have a Camry 1997, 4 cyl.. I make a mistake in connecting my electrical cables for a trailor and I blow up my flashers. My hazards is working well but no flasher is working. None of the 4 and no sound. I disconnect the electical cables for trailors and try to replace the relay of the flashers under my dash, driver's side for another one from a regular store (15$). No change, still not working. The Toyota dealer ask me 112 $ for his relay !!! Is that different from the regular store (Canadian tire). What can be my problem ? Is that possible an electronic problem near the arm ?

Thanks.

Default RE: Flashers

You might have blown the Turn Fuse. The system appears to have seperate fuses for the Turn and Hazard systems. Thus the hazards might be able to work, but not the turn signals.

Don't see any relays besides the flasher which is a standard auto store part. If the flashers work, the relay works.
