I kindly need an advice i drive camry 2.7 4-cylinder the engine knock-down and was replaced, but few weeks later i had another challenge the gear knock-down as well. Now i want to replace the gear but some people are saying replacing gear could be tricky that the existing engine might not work well with the new gear reason be that they are not same specifications. please i need advise you guys advise.

 

What is engine knock-down?

What year of car? There is no 2.7.

 

The engine broke down year of the car is 2007.

 

Do you mean the engine is knocking?

Is this something to do with the VVTi system gear?
