Default Help

I went out this morning to start my car and:
I have an 1998 Camry lx four cylinder
When I turn the key all the lights come on and I hear a clicking. I think it may be the starter at that point. I hooked some jumper cables to it and it started right up. What do you think is up?
Alternator?
Battery?
Starter?
Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Not starter if it works on a jump.

Most likely the Battery is just dead

Mine did the same, and I simply replaced the ground cable on my battery. I also have to nudge the wiring on the alternator every so often, but that's not so bad, it gives me an excuse to pop the hood and behold the pillar of efficiency that is the engine compartment.
