Help.. my olddie camy just die on me

Hi all
I had an 88 camry LE 4cyl with 108k miles .. yes it's 108k miles. It runs smoothly till 2 days ago when I started and let it warms up for about 5 mins then all the sudden it choked and died. I checked all the wires, sparkplugs, and tried to restart it. I can hear it crank up but wouldn't start. The battery is still good, it just wont start. BTW a few weeks before it died, I've noticed the eng rev really high, up to 2k rpm, after every trip i made and it happened really often.. I'm asking all the experts in here please give me a hand to help fixing my poor olddie.. really appreciate your help
