Default How do you replace dash lights in a 98?

Hi,

I have a 1998 with 145,000 miles on it. Recently the lights on the instument panel have started going out. I can see 1/2 of the dash lights, the lights for Drive, reverse, etc have gone out and the temp controls have gone out.

I can't seem to find anywhere in the manual how to replace these lights. Are they replaced with bulbs, or are fuses needed to be replaced?

Thanks,

Cheri

There are bulbs that can be replaced for your instrument panel. But to be on the safe side I would check my fuses first and see if any of them has blown out. This is so that if there is a fuse problem you wont have to spend wasted money on bulbs. But if theres a blown bulb then go purchase them. The degree if difficulty when changing your bulbs in the instrument pannel is not overly difficult. But time consuming because of everything you need to unscrew, as well as taking out the old burnt out bulbs, tight spaces, etc.
