Indicator light not work
Hi
i have a 1998 camry 2.2
today, the indicator light went kaput. its not working at all.
i push the stalk up or down but no action. the arrow inside doesn't blink and indicators don't work.
my car starts fine, headlights are ok. so i guess battery should be ok.
what could be other problem?
thanks

just thought of updating for others.
it was a small indicator part located in hood that needed replacement. its good now. didn't cost me anything. it was not fuse but something else. i will take pic of the part and post here.

I'm having that same problem. Is the part you're talking about in the fuse box under the hood? I have a replacement turn stalk I was going to put in. I didn't see anything pertaining to turns signals in the fuse box. Thanks!
hi flamechaser. sorry you having the same problem.
i didn't wrote clearly. Here is what happened.
The guy replaced fuse from the driver's side kick panel. he only checked under the hood for voltage whether the battery was in good condition and everything else is working good.
so its not under the hood, the fuse box is on the left side of steering where there is a small compartment to store receipts/loose change. just replace the fuse in there and it will work.
the reason it happened was, my right side signal lamp broke and to protect against morning dew, i tied both ends of wire together thereby causing failure of fuse.
hope this helps
