Toyota Camry (1996, 4 Cylinder, 2.2 L, LE sedan) Key reminder buzzer works intermittantly now. WHY?
This really bugs me. I love my Camry. But the key in ignition reminder buzzer only works now and again? WHY?
I know someone out there can help me on this-you will be my Angel....thank you Angel....I hope you fly by....

There is a switch on the chassis pillar that works when the door closes. If your sitting in the drivers seat the switch would be on the chassis outboard of about where you elbow would be.

The switch is a push type covered by a flexable black plastic cover, look in the door jam area.

The switch can stick in the compressed position and not turn on the door chime. Find the switch and move the button out to determine if the chime now turns on.
