still having a lag on the unlock feature after putting new battery in. I noticed the positive battery connector is built up again as always-will this have an effect? Talked to a guy yest. that said his wasn't locking his door even after hearing the locks lock. They want to put a new motor in $500.

 

A lag on all door locks?

 

The unlock feature lags, no beeps no sounds. The third attempt usually works. Trunk works ok.

 

Each door has its own motor. If all doors lag then all motors can't be bad.

Do the locks operate any better when using the manual controls on the door(s).

 

thanks for following this. Wednesday dealer tested the battery I just got for it in december at batteries plus $10. & it showed a low charge. They put new $5 battery in & its been fine do far. Happy.

 

Good catch in keeping the dealer honest. Interesting they proposed a $500 fix for a $5 battery.
