hi guys, new to this forum

i have a 2007 camry v6 le (us model).

i need help identifying this part... i can only decribe it to the best of my ability; its a large black plastic piece directly under the front bumper. i'd say its some kind of splash guard or shield.

i was driving and drove over a chunk of CONCRETE the size of a football. it got stuck under my car and i had to reverse to free the debris. we were hit by a nasty snowstorm overnight and the road conditions were really bad. at first i thought it was a chunk of soft snow..... and proceeded to driving through it. to my surprise it was a damn piece of concrete.

anyway the plastic piece i described earlier is kind of hanging off. what i need is the exact name... or part number.

i wonder if there is anything else that could be damaged other than that?

 

i forgot what that piece is called but most cars have them, and over the course of time after driving over parking blocks and what not it bends and falls off (like my car). Not too sure what it's purpose is, but i've been told it is an indicator to help you with parking so you dont hit the frame, or it is used to channel some air to the radiator. I've been running without it for a very long time, and have never had an issue. If you feel the need to get a new one, stop by the dealership and ask.
