Default Picture Help

Can some one please tell me what the attached picture is ? Also why would this cause engine to vibrate at idle when you cut the AC on ? I have a 2008 Camry LE. Thanks Mason

that is the exhaust shield

any vibration first check all the engine mounts

I will check them. It only does it at idle and when AC is on does not do it any other time werid.

when was it last serviced .. plugs leads ?

idle speed control sensor could be faulty

is the engine light on ?

Serviced at 5000 miles
no lights on

no engine light is a good thing

what is its rpm idle ling without AC ?
and rpm with AC

if it is an automatic i would be thinking TPS
might need a clean of the throttle body

I would say about 800 and it drops at least 50 to a 100 when you cut it on.

That shield looks sturdy on its place. See if head bolts are tight.
