Default Question regarding audio

Hey all,

i got a 2011 Camry XLE... I'm not too familiar with the MP3 player...when I create an mp3 cd and pop it in it wont read the titles for some reason. I am pretty sure I am doing something wrong. Any ideas? It plays everything just fine but it says "No Title"...so finding the song I want to hear is rather difficult lol. First camry.

thanks.

Try asking at the Toyotanation website in the audio forum.

Do know much about this issue but:

There are several software formats used to create titles (tags). The music disk needs to have titles formatted in a software the player can read. If can not read it, it will ignore it.

There appears to be no software standard and could be one of the following: ID3v1, ID3v2 and APEv2. The one you used to create the titles may not be supported by the player.

Other issues could be:

Does the software used to create the disk have any options for making a disk with titles and without them?

Or creating a music disk with titles?

Or using various title formats as the ones listed above? Might be called a tag editing function.
