Replace Heater hose. 97 Camry
#2
This is one of the hoses going to the heater core? You removed the clamp?
The hose connects to a pipe that connects to the heater core.
The underlying tube is pretty thin. Don't be too aggressive with pliers or you can crush or twist the tube.
Try taking a sharp blade such box cutter, gently cut length wise along the hose. Split the hose down to the pipe. The pipe may be made of a soft material thus try not to scratch the pipe when cutting.
One split, try gently twisting the hose. Might work liquid hand soap into the hose/pipe joint first.
The hose will break free eventually, take your time, be gently.
