I would say just for the rack you are looking at $250-$300. The actual labor cost to install will vary with which shop you choose. I would guess that a shop would charge you for 3-5 hours of labor. I have done a few racks in my time and it took me about 6 hours and I'm not a trained mechanic so I had to learn the details of the vehicle to do it right. I would expect the job to cost $500-800 depending on who you have do it and what parts they use and the mark up they tack on to the parts. These figures are just ball park numbers though and my estimates. I would call a shop and ask them what they charge for a steering rack in your car and hold them to that quote if it is acceptable to you.
