Hi all,

Have another question, Sun roof does not want to open....gets 1/4 of the way back, slows down and stops. By manually moving the window back its seems to be jamming on the passenger side track or skipping gears. If I jocky it around a little it will work back and forth for a while and then it gets stuck again 1/4 of the way back.

My question is what do I need to take apart to inspect or fix the problem???? Are the guides, gears or teeth probably worn (sounds like plastic parts not metal) will the headliner need to come out???

Asked dealer while I was on phone with him about the CV boots and he said the guides, shims and gears are all plastic. Toyota offers a repair kit.
