Switching to D2,D3 from Drive for no reason?
I would have argued, and DID argue that I was not the cause. But the steering is so predictable and wants to track straight. It, as it should, corrects the car to drive straight after a slow turn. For an instant I was swapping coffee from hand to hand and was intentionally touching the wheel with my knee to control the wheel as is rotated straight on its own. Every time the back of that paddle crossed my knee it would downshift. Sound stupid and dangerous and it is, but I bet it happens a lot. Once I moved my column and it the seat just a hair, no problem.
