Transmission Oil Hose

1) Thank you. May I ask where you saw that?
2) Also, do you have any experience in putting 11/32" hose on a 3/8 barb or inverted flare? I've heard they are compatible but I'm concerned it may be tough to get on and off.

1) Have no official Toyota reference on size. Only what numerous after market sources state. Can you remove an oil line and check?
2) The smaller hose should slide onto the larger barb OK. Are you replacing the original lines or?

Once i start the work I'll see if the hose shows its size or I'll mic the OD which should tell us. I agree the after market replacements all indicate the 11/32 is the only valid replacement. I've also seen references the 11/32 hose will fit on barbs from 5/16 to 3/8 so it seems you cant go wrong with 11/32. I went ahead and ordered the 11/32 hose. Not sure if i will replace the existing hose or just tap into the return line using a barrel flare mender. I'm installing a cooler soon and doing a complete fluid replace. That's the plan anyway and I'm committed since I've ordered many of the parts.
Take a look at my post here https://www.camryforums.com/forum/ge...filters-52253/ where I ask a few new questions about ATF and in-line filter.
