Default TSB #00103 2003 Camry air conditioner

What does it mean when I find a TSB on a problem I am having with my Camry's a/c light blinking?

A Technical Service Bulletin is generally issued when a common failure is studied by a manufacturer- and a fix or remedy plan is made. This fix generally involves either an improved part installation, or a step by step instructional. Either way, its there to save labor costs in unneccesary diagnosis of a given problem. Your particular TSB involves an update AC control relay. Pretty much plug and play. I don't have access to the TSB so i don't know the part number of the new relay.

I checked the belt it is fine. The sight glass seemed to empty out after 20-40 seconds when I turned the ac on. That means the system is low and there must be a leak somewhere? Right?

There is an EL011-05 STB stating if the A/C light is blinking to check the magnetic clutch relay.

If part number 90987-02022 replace with 90987-02028.

When watching the sight glass turn the A/C on. Bubbles should start to appear in the fluid then disappear as the system starts to work. Depending on how low the fluid, a few to many bubbles would typically always be present. Make sure all the bubbles have not disappeared and you are just viewing a liquid without bubbles rather then no liquid.
