Default wiper problem

The passenger side windshield wiper on our 2007 Camry stopped. The other side works fine. I can move the arm freely on the broken side so I suspect ice may have caused something to break. Any ideas? Thanks!

The motor rotates an arm. Attached to this arm are 2 "rods." Each rod attaches to an arm on the wiper shaft (where the wiper arm attaches).

One of the rods may have feel off. The connecting joint for the rod could have come apart or failed.

To access the wiper system the wiper blade arms, left and right side cowl louvors and weatherstrip must be removed.

The autozone website may have this info in the self help vehicle repair section.
