Default Info wanted: TRD airfilter (for OE airbox)

I'm thinking about ordering a TRD airfilter (08 SE V6), can anyone tell me how they like/ hate theirs? Is it louder when you romp it? any feedback on the butt dyno? Improvements in gas mileage?

If its not worth the $, I'll just as soon buy a K&N/ FUJITA/ ebay.

Thanks!

i wouldn't bother ordering a TRD a/f. You're are probably better off with a K+N. Cheaper and longer lasting. And no, it doesn't really change the sound of the motor at all.

If you want to improve the sound of your engine, just install a short ram intake and add a performance exhaust

I myself choose to have K&N filter than spending my hard-earned money at TRD and that's in my humble opinion only.

Hey I had the TRD filter in my car before I installed the cold air intake it made little difference it looked just like the K&N filters that I have used on other cars don't waste your money on the TRD get a K&N they are the same just less expensive.
