let me start by saying the engine had a blown head gasket and originally i was going to just do the gasket and rethread the block with a time cert kit well that didnt happen owners of my shop had a stick in the rear and wanted me out so i purchased a running engine (watched it run) and dropped it in now she wont even run on starter fluid its getting spark and once in a while i'll get a injector pulse and it will try to start then dies i also have no throttle response anyone have any ideas for me?

 

Do you still have the old engine? Is the replacement engine the same as the old engine as in being able to swap parts such as the crank/cam sensors?

 

i swapped for a 07 2.4l but everythingh is plug and play i did replace the cam sensor as the connector was broken but i didnt replace the crank because i was getting rpm reading upon cranking
