I am just test drove a private sale 1997 Camry LE 2.2L (w/sun roof) with 85K miles, one owner,non smoker, garage kept, immaculate condition etc. What can I expect for around town and highway gas mileage? Also, it has a factory Toyota CD/AM/FM/Casette player. What will be the best way to get better audio quality out of this system? New Alpine speakers? A new Alpine CD player and speakers? I know that factory audio equipment is of pretty low quality.

 

Our 200 with the same 2.2 5sfe gets about 26 in town and 33 on the highway. I guess thats ok for an automatic transmission but, i'll take my Honda anyday. I shift at 7,200rpm all the time and still net 33mpg and get 40mpg if i'm not beating on it.
