1998 Camry Odometer
Hello everyone!
My sister has a 1998 Camry that she is wanting to sell. My concern is that you cannot read the milage on the Odometer. I am not sure if it is working. The speed odometer does not work. It is my belief that they are connected, so I am assuming that it does not. I am worried that she cannot sell the car without it.
Has anyone else had the issue?

Apparently speedometer/odometer failures on this car are not unheard of.
Does the odometer still display or is it blank?
Does the car shift ok?
She should be able to sell it just fine, there is usually a spot on the title where you disclose that the mileage is incorrect when you transfer it to a new owner.
It will hurt the value she gets for it though.
