Hi new here. I have a 93 V6 LE.

i am trying to gain power the cheapest way. so i figured more air more power i dont know 100 percent if its right but it seems to be.

I took off the air filter and took it 4 a ride jst to try the car goes real fast this car is a Auto trans EFI and it was shifting like a manual trans as i drive i could hear the air getting sucked in so i got power that way and the cooling system was stinkn hot what happened what does that mean?

so anyway my question. will the car go fast with a (P-flow) High performance filter or do i need the hole Air Box to be constructed to get this extra power?

basicly I have a Vane type air flow meter and if i run the car with out the Air filter it goes faster but its not good for it as bad air/ or hot air will enter the engine. so i want to know a way that is good for it with lots of air entering the Air flow system with no harm to the engine to give me lots of power that i get with out the stock filter in place.

Please help i am sure this is very simple.

 

I would suggest you to get your car checked by a good mechanic.he'll be able to tell you what's wrong.

 

Um no nothing is wrong with the car. Just want a Air system Mod. if anyone can provide a link where i can get a camry 93 High performance (masserflow) air filter that will provide cold air to the engine.

 

You might get a few HP gain but not enough to make any difference in performance.

Do a Google search under "cold air intake camry".

Or a search on you engine model and something like "performance modifications". Hp can be increased but it takes more then then cold air intake.

You might review past posts at the Toyotanation website, many owners have added cold air intakes.
