Buying used 2012-2014 Camry hybrids taxi, is it a good idea?
Hello all, just wondering if anyone bought, have any thoughts or experience buying used/retired 2012-2014 Camry hybrids taxi, i saw a couple of them on FB for sale 2014 Camry hybrid w/300k for $2900 in NYC, i was thinking about buying one for daily driver. but hesitant until research and get more info about the reliability of hybrids. thanks.

What's the condition as price seems too low?
A few concerns:
The car has 300K miles of wear and tear. Would be skeptical buying a totally gas powered Camry with that amount of miles unless the price was dirt cheap.
Does NYC use road salt and if so has the car metal been affected?
The biggest issue is if the main battery fails you can not operate the vehicle. Replacement cost can run beyond $6K. These batteries don't last forever.
