Between guys do u think its a good idea to have 2 different set of tires on the car?
I recently got 2 Firestone but looks like he did not have those, he told me i can have a set of 2.

It shouldn't be a big deal as long as the tires aren't oddly worn. If a tire has been imbalanced or on a worn out strut side, the wear could be affected and you'll get vibration, etc. even with all the new parts. Worn out struts can cause scalloping in the tread wear. Have tires inspected when the work is done.

Looks like I am back to square one.

Went for an oil change & got a few things recommended by the monro auto folks.

1. tie rod end for the front driver seat doesn't move & he actually showed me how it was different from the passenger end, looked scary to drive with that.

2. back struts are leaking ...i was like wtf

3. coolant & some things for the engine side ..( will update from the copy tomorrow)

I also had a scary experience while driving on a bumper to bumper traffic US1 ....I took a sharp pick up & suddenly the front guy stopped I almost lost control & felt my breaks did not work almost almost kissed the Acura's ***.

Trying to order a tie rod end from ebay now :-(

I've used those strut kits on ebay on two different cars with great success, it cost me $250 per car to do them myself, and then $70 for a wheel alignment. I'm happy with the purchase.

So next story goes like this...i go to a store to get the tie rod end & ask him for a service guy for the labour cost & he calls the same guy who got my struts fixed lol

I went to him & told him ...he said u do not need to fix the Tie Rod End its perfectly fine...

But he gave me some other things to do like he fixed the break then and there &

1. Dogbone
2. Coolant ( I asked him for it)
3. Spark Plugs
4. valve cover gasket

Will get it done coming weekend :-)

I think I am good for the winter :-)

Guys liked this advanced auto garage tool ...awesome to keep record and receipts at one website.
