Default dashboard indicator unknown !

Hi, can anyone give me some idea about what the little car icon with some lights showing on the rear means when it comes on? I have had it on for a couple of days and am not sure what needs to be done. I have looked at all the lights and everything works fine.

Its a yellow car right? it means blown rear tail light. Have you checked all the lights? Checked them when the headlights are turned on and when braking? Does this light turn on right after ignition or just after you hit the brakes and or turn on the headlights?

Yeah its a yellow car on the leftmost bottom corner. I did check all the lights and they seemed to light up. But you are right, they sometimes come on just after ignition and sometimes they stay off but come on once I hit the breaks....I'll probably check all the lights again.

I was wondering if they could indicate any other problem ...because I remember that the hand brake light kept coming on and that was because I had a low brake fluid level...

Thanks for telling me what it was...I was just craking my head trying to locate some info on the net !

no problem. your owners manual also has this information.

sometimes its just a loose bulb/poor contact area. hopefully not a sensor problem. If all bulbs seem ok, take each out and put back in. that sometimes fixes the problem. The only reason the sensor activates is it doesnt feel resistance coming from that particular bulb socket.

I had this problem for a while- i checked the brake lights if anything was wrong but i found NONE. Then i followed another gen4 camry and i noticed that there was a high mount tail lamp (the one by the back window)- turned out that it was the problem. Check yours; cuz its really easy to miss.
