2003 Camry - - I replaced the starter and removed the battery - - suddenly the engine is running rough. I remember being told, there are circumstances where the engine runs rough, it's just the computer recovering from the power down?

 

Could be computer issue. If it doesn't square away, try cleaning the throttle body.

Otherwise don't assume a problem just yet and start changing parts.
