Has anyone done a transmission drain and fill on an 07 or 08 V6?

I know it's supposed to be a "lifetime" fill, but has anyone done any transmission service to a V6?

 

If using WS fluid the change proceedure is somewhat involved.

There are drain and refill ports on the trans. The old fluid is drained out then new installed until it runs out the fill port.

The trans needs to be operated until a certain fluid temp is reached (the trans has a temp sensor) and the excess fluid allowed to drain out.

The fluid is inspected based on its color when compared to a color range chart. Red is good, black is bad.
