I'd like to get a subwoofer adn they tell me that my car must be equipped with DZ Audio to accommodate the Toyota brand sub. I have a 2003 SE with the JBL premium sound. Anyone know how I can tell if it will work with the Toyota sub?

 

what the hell are they talking about?- buy the toyotasub and amp ur looking for and take it to a real audio shop. All they have to do is run an R/F modulator or splice a signal wire to two and you're good to go!

 

What are you talkin about . It doesnt matter wat sub you put in. How ever said that theya re messin with ya. I have a JL audio system and i have a JBL factory system

it dont really matter what your came with.. for example, my stock sounds system is all gone accpet for the wiring. but like OTH, all you need is a R/F modual or if the shop you go to is good, then they'll know what to do. it seem that they tell u that u need a toyota sub cause they want your money and ripe you a new one.. =D
