Just Purchased - 2009 Camry
Hello everybody, my wife and I just purchased a 2009 Toyota Camry with 27,090 miles on it for $13,900 from the Toyota dealer. It's the base model Camry with an automatic transmission and is very clean. With a baby on the way we decided her 1993 Toyota Pickup, with 348,000 miles on it, wasn't going to have enough room. It's a shame because it just keeps going...
I think the Camry is a nice car in the "economical vehicle arena" and I'm impressed with the ride quality. The power isn't exciting and the look isn't what I'd say sporty but, I didn't buy it to be exciting or look cool. My hope is that it will do what Toyota's have a reputation for doing; drive and drive and drive and drive. I have 292,000 miles on my Toyota pickup, my wife had 348,000 miles on her truck as I wrote earlier, my brother-in-law has 258,000 miles on his Toyota pickup, and a friend has 302,000 miles on his Camry. I will let you know if the car was worth buying when it breaks or the odometer turns over to 300,000 miles.
