Exclamation Leaking When it Rains

And it rains a lot!
Hello! BMore Chill from Bmore!
My sister gifted me a 2013 Camry - which we found out leaks -back seat passenger side. We tried using a hose to see if we can figure out where the water is coming from - nothing.
We tried putting down plastic bags - the water was under the bags.
The trunk is dry.
The front seats are dry.
The front floor is dry
The back seat behind the driver is dry and so is the floor.
What is wet is right under the seat in the corner on the passenger side. It is driving me insane.
Any suggestions of where to look or if you've had this issue, please share! I really appreciate finding this forum.
Fun Fact:
This is the 2nd Toyota given to me - I was also given a 1989 Toyota Pickup with 135,000 miles. Pretty nifty little truck.

Thank you!

Does the car have a sun roof?

Thank you for your quick response! Yes, the car does have a sunroof. The roof is dry, inside as well as the seams. We've literally checked every inch of the car - the roof/ceiling, the sides, the inside of the doors (both the front and back passenger doors), under the front seat, the ledge behind the back seats and the trunk. Nothing else is wet, except the floor closest to where the door opens. I thought for sure, with the hose on full blast it would leak somewhere, but it did not.

So, water under rear passengers side seat? Did you remove the rear seat to see the water? The bottom seat cushion comes out pretty easy without tools.

These sunroof designs typically had drain holes at all four corners of the frame. The water going down 4 separate hoses inside the appropriate roof column to drain out under the chassis floor. When a hose plugs up water can be found on the floor.

I will bear this information in mind. It's a bit much for me to consider, but at least I have a starting point.
I appreciate you taking the time to respond.
Kindest Regards,

Look under the chassis for any drain tubes handing down.

Rare but might be a bad rear window seal. The water working down under the rear deck cover, then down the inside of chassis to under the seat.

The lower seat should pull up easy enough to check for water. Use food coloring in the water and pour on suspected leaking areas..

On the off chance check the spare tire well for water. Also check for water on small trunk wells on the left and right side of the spare tire well.

There is a through chassis excess plate under the seat to get to the fuel tank fuel pump but it would take some work to get water up through this.

My Deepest Apologies for not getting back to you before now. I cleared all the debris from the spaces I could find.
I also found what appears to be a trustworthy (?) mechanic, if the problem persists, I will have them do a more thorough check. We also are changing the cabin air filter, there was an issue with a musty smell, though I don't smell it at all now.
That's all for now. This is an awesome space to discover what to expect from having this "new" car.
I appreciate the warm welcome and continued interactions, offering information I would never have thought of.
Have a most amazing week!
Thanks again.
