looking at a Gen 5 for my daughter
My Daughter has run the bureaucratic gauntlet and now has her license. I am looking at a Gen 5 for her first vehicle. This particular vehicle is an LE with 135K, supposedly maintenance has been kept current. What are the gotchas with this Gen I should look out for? any specific year I should not consider?

gen 5 wide body XV50 (2011–2017)
V6 or 4 cyl same servicing requirements
this range does have a hybrid model
fluid changes and brakes up to date
CVT use a specific oil ..add the wrong oil and goodbye gearbox
timing belt and water pump changes
emission passes
if in snow /salt regions watch for chassis and wheel well rust
wheel sensor connector corrosion
