mileage issue
I own a 1998 Toyota Camry LE V6. I get very low mileage/gallon. I just recently bought this used car, and found that on an average I get just 22 miles/gallon. I heard that Toyota's are gas savers and used to give around 27-30 miles per gallon. What could be the issue with the car? The AAA 80 point check was also done recently which didn't report any issues. The only change that was done recently was that a tire was replaced. I have 3 new tires now and one old tire (not too old though). Could this be the problem? Pls help me.

RE: mileage issue
since you bought it used, you should..
1) Replace ALL HOSES and BELTS
2) Replace ALL FLUIDS
3) Replace Fuel and Air filter. (Even though they say the fuel filter is lifetime, replace it anyways)
4) Replace Spark Plugs and Wires.
- so its basically the 90K tune-up + Timing Belt Change.
When i did my 90K tune-up on 87K, i was only getting 275-280/tank. After the tune-up.. i'm going up to 335-340/tank.
hope this helps some.
