Default Motor swap

I bought a 2003 Toyota Camry from my step sister. It has a 2.4 liter engine that is no good. Is it possible to put a 2.2 liter in this vehicle?

Not recommended.

The engines are different in design. For one thing the 2.4 had VVTi and a MAF sensor while the 2.2 did not. Your better off finding a 2.4 engine or fixing the one you have.

Find out what is wrong with the 2.4L. Perhaps the engine can be repaired.
