Smile New 2001 Camry

I just bought a 2001 Toyota Camry with 138xxx miles on it. I want to turn it into an amateur rally racer. I was wondering what kind of suspension i should put on it. I dont want to spend whole heaping amounts of money but I want the right kind. Any suggestions?

How much money do you want to spend?

High performance parts are expensive. Coilover struts around $1K, heavy duty front and rear sway bars $150 each.

Suggest looking first at better tires and if a daily driver 2-sets of rims/tires. One for rally another for daily driving as performance tires are also expensive.

Might also check at the Toyotanation site in the Camry and Tire sections as Camry members there have set up performance street cars.

I'm looking to spend about 1 grand on suspensions and about 2500 total. It will remain my daily driver because im 17, but i want to try and get into rallying.
