Default New guy - recommendations for an '09 2.4L?

Big fan of car forums in general, so as a new Camry owner signing up here was automatic. I am generally a Mopar nut, but my daily driver "beaters" have been various makes over the years. While not new to the Asian market, this is my first Toyota. Gen 6, XV40, 2009 LE 2.4L, 133k mi, in Blue Ribbon Metallic. Still looks really nice – will be beautiful with a clay bar treatment, buff, and interior detail. CarFax has her being re-ringed at 80k, so the oil consumption issue is remedied. Head is much cleaner than the block, as such I am guessing the problematic stretched head bolt threads in the block has been remedied as well. Mostly liking her so far. She handles much better than I would have expected, and while by no means fast (and never will be) she has enough grunt to merge with 70mph traffic from a short ramp.

Spent the weekend bringing her up to speed:
AMSOIL Signature Series 5w-20, Purolator PBL14477
AMSOIL Full-Synthetic ATF; WIX 58010
Spark plugs; NGK IFR6T11
Radiator cap; MotorRad ST-37 Lever Lock
Air filter; K & N 33-2370
PCV; Beck Arnley 0450437
PCV hoses
Oil drain valve; Fumoto F133S
Low beams; Sylvania H11 Silverstar zXe
Intake Helmholtz resonator delete; removed and plugged the 2 after the filter box, I prefer the intake noise. I need to figure an alternative for the one before the air box as it is molded in.
Full interior LED upgrade
Cabin air filter; WIX 24483XP
Oil catch can (I add these to all my cars, even if you don't burn oil they really save the throttle body getting gummed up by blow-by)
Removed and cleaned throttle body
Cleaned airbox, intake hose, and intake manifold; AMSOIL Power Foam
Injector cleaner to my first tank; AMSOIL P.I.

Still needs:
- the preventative items aren't "needs" per say, but I feel better knowing they are new. Plus the mostly good used parts make good spares for my roadside repair kit

Tie rod ends (a bit of steering play)
Front lower control arms (bushings are dry rotted)
Motor/trans mounts (I noted 2 that are dry rotted, I prefer to replace them all)
Stabilizer links (preventative)
Front struts (they still work fine but appear to be OE and the boots are torn)
Replace hoses - heater, vacuum, radiator, etc (PCV hoses were cracked and replaced, the rest are preventative)
Thermostat (preventative)
Coolant flush (incorrect "lime flavor" coolant is in there now)
Serpentine belt, tensioner (preventative)
Water pump (preventative)
Tires (still good, but are of the garbage basic el-cheap-o variety)
Full detail and interior shampoo
I’d also like to ditch the hideous exhaust manifold shields, and fiberglass wrap it instead. Looks neater, and keeps under hood temps down.

I'm sure I'll find more as I continue to poke at her. Please feel free to suggest additions to my list, if you are aware of any common wear items. I’d also like strut recommendations, not looking to lower, but surely there is an upgrade over (the already pretty good!) OE….

Your lucky the car had the ring and perhaps the head bolt thread job. Keep using synthetic and change it. The oil ring drain holes in the piston were too small and plugged up. A dealer should be able to print out if the car had the TSB's done for the rings and thread issues.

If the car has hydraulic power steering change the fluid. Do this by changing out the fluid in the reservoir between drives until its clear.

If replacing the stabilizer links replace the sway bar bushings.

If I am right on the block threads, it was an independent shop as there is no record. I am assuming it was done, as again the head is much cleaner than the block all the way around. If the repair is done right, the head is resurfaced, which would mean it was hot tanked hence the clean head.

None the less, this will be flushed and replaced with AMSOIL as well. I usually do it with the engine running and the return line into drain pan - keep adding until you see new fluid, shut her down and top it off. I'll flush and replace the brake fluid with AMSOIL in time too. These didn’t make the list above as my memory is garbage, but they are on the cardboard checklist in the garage!
