Default New Member with door lock problem

Hello thanks for letting me join the forum. I have a 2005 Camry CE with door lock issues. I can only unlock the drivers side with the key fob. The door switch on the drivers side will not open the other doors. Thanks in advance for any information.

My '01 Camry has that same issue with the lock switch, actually. The lock switch only works when it feels like it. It's probably a wiring issue; not 100% sure, haven't exactly ripped the control panel open to find out. But that's usually what that is.

As for the key fob, it's supposed to unlock all doors when you hit the unlock button twice within about 3 seconds. If it won't do that, there's two likely causes: your key fob's battery is getting low (if you find you have to hit the lock/unlock buttons often to even get it to respond, that'd be it), or your car's key fob signal sensor is somehow malfunctioning. For your sake, I hope it's the former (or that you didn't know you have to hit unlock twice).

Thank you for the reply. the first thing i did was replace the batteries in the key fob. I have looked for the receiver for the key fob with no luck. Some diagrams show it on the passenger side back window post but its not there. I have not gotten into trouble shooting yet I will post some if when i find out something. Its been so hot here lately to get into it. I am open for any information if anyone has any help. thanks again
