Default tire pressure system

Can anyone tell me how to shut off the pressure monitoring system. just put on new tires and will not spring for the "special" add on for the tire to communicate with the car.

Did you get new rims and tires or just tires. The sensors are attached to the rim and the tire shop should have kept them there when they changed tires.

The tire monitoring system will trip if the tire pressure changes as in a higher or lower pressure then the set pressure. Changing tires would have caused the system to trip.

Check you owners manual on how to reset the monitoring system.

Remember to, the spare tire may have a sensor.
