Trunk latch

Default Trunk latch
My 2008 Camry LE has a mechanical latch to open the trunk.
I am worry if the trunk latch can be controlled by electrical circuit in this model, such as open by remote?

It appears a FOB activated latch was offered.

Find an after market remote trunk release kit, install the Toyota OEM FOB latch and wire it up.
