Question Vacum Line part number

Hello,

Please help me identify the part number for the part below:
It connects to PN 17650G (MARK), and it has no identifiers on it other than ">PA66<"
Toyota Camry 2004 LE V6 3.0 (VIN starts with 4)

Thank you,

JP

Speculate you may need to buy the complete unit which Toyota calls a valve set.

https://parts.frontiertoyota.com/oem...-v6-2570120210

P/N 25701-20210

Try Ebay for uses parts.

Examine the part and to determine what it does. It may be just a vacuum accumulator as in air tank.

Determine if you can glue the hose connection back onto the part and call it good. This would be my first step.

Joey,
Unfortunately 25701-20210 is not the correct assembly, searching for vacuum accumulator is not returning any results either.
Are there any other resources available to identify this part?

Thank you,

JP

After more searching, I found this is a "Vacuum Surge Tank" for 1MZ-FE.
I have not been able to find a Toyota part number or a replacement part so far.

Apparently you are not the first to go down this path. See link below.

https://www.toyotanation.com/threads...#post-10246689

All searches lead to nowhere or to the 25701-20220 part number.

Every Toyota dealer parts site fails to list the individual part or lists the assy part number previously stated. These sites have nothing on a "vacuum surge tank" for the year/model of car.

A search for Camry tanks shows every style but the one you have.

The tank is an accumulator or air chamber for low pressure. It might moderate the pressure or provide more pressure at once when a valve is opens.

Again suggest trying to fix the old tank. Toyota does list another type of tank with is round also by the same name. For a quick fix might use a different tank.

This may be a time to go to a Toyota dealer who would assume has dealt with the issue below.
