Default wires eaten by rodents

Does anyone know the year that Toyota began using soy based wires on the Camry? My 2014 Camry wiring harness needed replacement at nearly 3K, Luckily insurance covered most of it. I also have an 07 also and am concerned about that one too.

Don't know. Have had no complaints about this year. Rodents can do damage to wiring of all types.

Default soy covered wires

The dealer said he replaces the wire harness a couple times a week on the newer Camrys Large dealership.

Yes, but do I need to do this forever? Be careful when you buy a new car, many have sot covered wires.

Many makes of cars use some kind of vegetable covering!

Honda has a service bulletin to use tape made with capsaican.

The 2007 seems to not have problems, the newer car yes.
