Hi I'm new to this forum my name is Diane I have an
04 2.4 camry. At 249 ,000 miles car overheated no warning and had a new head gasket done. My son gave me the car then he repaired it for me. But when he Did the job he discover the head bolts being a problem. Here we are at 252,000 miles and have white smoke out of exhaust and hard to crank.
This time no over heating issues at all. Did experience prior to the white smoke had to replace 2 engine coils. I know for sure it's head bolts related because the bolt that my son had problems on the back side I saw a slight puff of smoke. So this is where I am with this if there's anything I can do or help make Toyota responsible for this flaw I'm there to help. I will share info I have to help.
