260 HP with 20 bux of mods on that prelude? that is one SICK VTEC. his timing is so advanced... **** was made in 3010.

Well that was a really long time ago, the only thing i miss about it is not having to worry about parking lot dings!

It sounds like your friend is doing a little ricer math. Take the car to the track and you'll see how fast it really is. Preludes are quick and fun, but headers and intake combined will maybe get him an extra 10hp at the most. Unless you build the engine to work with a better flowing intake/exhaust, you aren't going to see much gain with that stuff.

To explain the difference between your engines, the VTEC is a more performance-oriented engine vs the 2.2L in the Camry which is more for economy driving. There's more to it than that but it's already been somewhat explained above.
