Has anyone experienced any wind noise rattle in engine bay only during high winds? I have checked every piece of plastic in engine bay for looseness, I have adjusted the hood latch to close tighter, I have also checked fender liners and plastic skid plate for any looseness and missing bolts. The damn noise only started last fall and at my wits ends. I have tinnitus and this is friggin worse to deal with. Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

High winds as in high MPH speeds?

Have you looked under the engine/chassis at the plastic shields.

 

I appreciate your reaponse. Yes I have checked everything. And doesn't matter at high speeds or not. Only at high winds

High winds? The winds are high, but the car is not moving and there is still this noise.

If so, get some carboard. Have someone walk around the car blocking the wind while you listen inside.

 

No, when driving the car, either at normal speed limit or highway speed, when there are high winds that is when the noise appears. But there is no noise when there is no winds
