Default How to remove stuck frozen brake rotors on 2002

Here is my experience in removing front brake rotors that would not budge on my 2002 V6 Camry. First of all do NOT remove the giant nut in the center of the front wheel hub. The night before you plan to do the work spray the inside hub of the rotor with penetrating oil. Also spray the two small screw holes in the rotor. If you are not sure what I mean, go to an auto parts store and buy a brake rotor as reference. Let the oil do its work for at least 12 hours. Buy (2) 8mm-1.25 x 25mm hex bolts at home depot. Screw the 2 bolts in the rotor bolt holes. I put a vise grip on the old rotor as a stop while torquing down the bolts. Torque the bolts with a bit of pressure. Do not over do it and snap the bolts. Heat the inside hub of the rotors where the rotor comes in contact with the wheel hub, the same place where you sprayed the oil. You are heating a big hunk of steel, I suggest buying some MAP gas in the yellow bottle at home depot for your torch to create a hotter flame instead of propane. After heating the rotor a bit I loosened the 2 screws and then re-torque the hex bolts a little more then before. Heat the rotor again and go through the process of loosening and tightening the bolts a little more again. The goal is to break the rusty bond between hub and rotor without breaking anything or overheating the hub. After 3 cycles of doing this on my Camry the rotor made a popping sound when the rust came loose. Rotor slipped off with no problem. Thanks to Patonium on giving me good advise in getting this job done successfully.
