I would like some feedback on where to buy a reman rack and pinion. There are a couple of internet companies that I've never used Car Steering Wholesale and Jorgen Rack & Pinion. Anybody have any experience? Anybody buy new seals and rebuild one themselves?

 

Believe it or not our shop has been using remaned racks from napa with decent results, a couple of years ago they were leaky trash but now there better. There warrenty is pretty good allso.
As far as the company your asking about have never heard of them.

I've never had a problem with NAPA quality or return policy, but they do tend to charge more with no explanation of what goes into the, "quality". I don't mind paying for quality, I just want to understand what I'm getting for the extra cost. I have not priced NAPA yet. So far internet looks to be around $230 with core. I also learned to ask if the rack comes with or without tie rod ends, some prices don't include. Shipping return of core is also an issue. Anyone else have a good source or things I should be looking for?
